Autism Spectrum Advocacy

Autism Spectrum Advocacy offers comprehensive special educational advocacy services to families of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (including Autism, Rett Syndrome, PDD-Pervasive Development Disorder, PDD-NOS, Asperger Syndrome and Childhood Disintegrative Disorder) We work with families to strengthen their own advocacy skills by guiding them through the education planning process. We can take you through the entire process or just portions of it.

At Autism Spectrum Advocacy we believe the key to effective educational programs for children with autism is collaboration -as equals- by parents and educators. We work hard to enable parents to take their rightful place as equal members of their child’s educational TEAM.

We believe that it is essential to help families to foster a positive and collaborative working relationship with schools and school districts to the maximum extent possible while holding the school districts accountable to the Federal and State laws that have been put in place to protect your child.
